Notebook/Pencil
Reading Book
Spring wetsuit (short arms and short legs), or a
Neoprene or Lycra shirt for sun/wind protection while surfing (a t-shirt makes a fine replacement)
Optional: A hat you can wear while surfing (a chin strap helps it to stay on during wipeouts)
Note: if you are bringing a digital still or video camera it can be recharged with our car power adaptor.
Travel Essentials
ID/Passport
Money belt/pouch
ATM Card (note: There are no ATM's near the camp! There is one ATM in Loreto, so you can withdraw pesos upon arrival, or on the last 2 days of the trip while in Loreto.)
Some cash. Though you probably won’t need this much, we recommend each guest bring $300 - $400. U.S. dollars are fine. This will cover any alcoholic beverages, snacks at the Cantina, your last 3 meals in Loreto, phone/internet, souvenirs, tips, and emergencies.
Experienced Surfers Should Bring:
Fins, leash, wax, etc…
1-2 boards. If you longboard we recommend bringing an 9'0" and a shorter fun board around 7’6”. If you shortboard we recommend bringing your 6’2” and a fish or fun board.
Note: Aeromexico charges $50 per board, one way and the longest board you can fly with is 9’ packed (though many of our guests have flown with 9'6" boards without a problem).
We have 9’4” foam longboards available for use. These are pretty good boards for foamies (not flimsy).
