New Wave Trip requires that each of our guests purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy which covers trip cancellation, emergency medical and dental, and emergency medical transport and evacuation. This insurance is COMPULSORY for all our trips.

Policies to cover our surf trips typically range in cost from $100 to $200 per person depending on the amount of coverage. You will find it is well worth the peace of mind. Travel insurance policies need to be faxed or emailed to our office at least 15 days prior to departure. If you show up and do not have a valid travel insurance policy, we cannot allow you to join the trip, and there will be no refund for the trip cost! Get your travel insurance!

Access America has a great policy: The Travel Protector Deluxe Comprehensive Plan. It covers everything and costs about $125 - $175/person, or about $600 for a family of four. It’s the same price whether you stay for one week or two. (So you might as well stay for two!)
